Dr. Gregory DiFelice is looking at ACL injuries in a whole new light. After studying ACL injuries and all the techniques used to reconstruct them, he is now performing ACL repair surgeries on hundreds of patients a year. We talk about the difference between an ACL repair and an ACL reconstruction. What lead him to believe he should have another look at ACL repairs after they were done years and years ago. We talk about the difference in recovery and he also shows me some of the information from his keynote lecture in a recent sports medicine convention in Poland.
